Role : Informatica Lead for claims

Location : Schaumburg, IL

Duration : 6-12 Months

Experience : 8-10+ yrs

 

• Must possess solid background in Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing

• Must have Hands on development experience in large DW environments

• 5+ years' experience in design / developing ETL process usingInformatica preferably for P&C insurance

• Strong SQL, database, and dimensional design  & development experience , preferably DB2

• Strong experience in ETL performance optimization Unix and Unix Scripting experience – minimum of 2 years' experience

• Energetic, self-motivated and versatile individual who is goal and deadline oriented and exhibits strong technical communication skills.

• Should have dealt with all stages of the project life cycle, including post production support , job monitoring and incident resolution experience.

• Strong solutions experience and a track record of designing solutions to meet business needs

• Excellent problem solving skills

• Ability to work with other team members including Data Architects, Report Developers, and QA members.

• Informatica Powercenter - ETL Pre-requiste Should be proficient with ETLconcepts. Should have proficiency in at least one database tool

• Shouldunderstand the range of options and best practices for common ETL designtechniques such as change data capture, key generation and optimization.

• Tool-specific: Experience in Informatica. Knowledge in designing the mapping andend-to-end data flow in a mapping.

• Should be up-to-date on the upgrade options,enhancements, add-ons and features in the ETL tool with a view to improving the productivity
