This position is for a Procurement (SAP-MM) analyst to join our template team.

 

Required:

9-10 years experience

 

Responsibilities include:

Gather and document business requirements. Complete the solution design, including proto-typing and configuration.

Complete the process documentation as part of the template solution.

Conduct testing as required by new content releases.

Assist in the development of end-user training materials.

Provide level 4 support for business process related issues.

May serve as a team member on special projects.

 

The following skills, experience, and traits are highly desired:

Experience with procurement systems Familiarity with purchasing processes Familiarity with Project Management Institute (PMI) project management best practices Understanding of EDI transactions and supporting technologies. Very good communication and teamwork skills 6 Sigma experience.

 

Summary:

The main function of an SAP Analyst is to provide expertise and application leadership on SAP software support, system maintenance and updates, system change and configuration, programming and vendor liaison communication. This person is responsible for documenting business processes, end-user training and resolving any issues. Job Responsibilities: Provide application and technical support services including systems implementation, upgrades, new version roll-outs and optimization, analysis, design, build, configuration, testing and go-live support. Perform systems analysis and logical design activities such as data modeling, entity relationship diagramming, logical database design and technical design specifications. Identify SAP applications and integrated technology opportunities and solutions for resolving complex business problems. Identify and translate user requests into functional specifications. Identify security and application access needs for customers, develop or assist with the development of security definitions and profiles, assist with the maintenance of security authorizations, and develop recommendations for other system controls. Prioritize, manage, and track team workload progress as required. Acts as team leader for development and support groups. Assist less experienced system development/support personnel in developing solutions to customer related requests and/or system problems. Skills: Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, and customer service skills. Ability to work with diverse team members to build a cohesive team. Basic ability to work independently and manage ones time as well as being a collaborative team member. Strong knowledge of the full software development lifecycle: from business/systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery. Expert ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue. Knowledge of SAP development tools, database management systems, applications, and database components. Proficiency in one or more SAP module configurations specifically identified in the assignment requirements. SAP MM, SAP Plant Maintenance, SAP Finance, SAP Inventory,Mgt., SAP Purchasing/Procurement, SAP Quality, SAP Sales & Distribution, SAP Supply Chain Mgt., SAP Business Warehouse, SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Mgmt), Add SAP VC (Variant Config), Add SAP ME.
