Job Title : ETL/Informatica Developer(Lead)
Location : Richmond, VA
Duration : 6+ Months
Mandatory skills : Data Warehousing , Powercenter Informatica
Technical/Functional Skills :
· Minimum 8-10 years of industry experience with an emphasis on Database design and dimensional modeling for business intelligence / data warehousing solutions in the insurance services industry.
· Must have multiple full lifecycle project experience as a developer and architect in designing and developing Operational Data Stores, Data Warehouses and Data Marts.
· Deep understanding of DW appliances, Hadoop, Oracle Database SQL and PL/SQL concepts, unix shell scripting, standards and best practices
· Should have expertise in developing and deploying industry standard data models for insurance industry
· Strong database development, physical database design and data modeling experience
· Measurement of DBMS performance and tuning; diagnosis of problems.
· Good past experience with Powercenter Informatica ETL tool
· Develop reporting marts, experience with reporting tools preferred
Generic Managerial Skills:
· Ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks simultaneously
· Strong communication and organizational skills
· Ability to multi-task, prioritize and execute on assigned deliverables
· Ability to quickly learn new systems and business processes
