Job Description:

 

Senior Database Engineer to join its Platform Engineering Team. This team member will be an expert in Database Programming, Design and Optimization, and will function as the primary subject matter expert (SME) in the use of traditional Microsoft SQL Server and data modeling services.

This database engineer will play a key role in contributing to Enterprise Data Architecture, Workflow and other solutions for the next generation of integrated healthcare management software for the Company.

As a key member of our team's pursuit of this vision, you will have accomplished the following by July 31, 2015:

§§    You spearheaded initiatives of moving data through Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), utilizing T-SQL, SQL and XML, and you leveraged your experience in programming both structured and unstructured databases including MS SQL Server 2008 R2, 2012 and NoSQL(Hadoop);

§§    You provided support for data integration to and from on-premise customer data sources and cloud-based data services, and incorporated the latest data services available on the Azure Cloud including Storage, SQL Database, HDInsight and Cache;

§§    You contributed to the design of, and lead the implementation of physical schemas based on logical data models;

§§ You captained database development initiatives incorporating SQL and NoSQL technologies (Hadoop, etc.), worked as DBA when needed, and supported the team with Data Modeling;

§§ Leveraging your foundation in database development, you also lead data modeling initiatives using advanced data patterns such as Adaptive Object Model (AOM);

§§ You managed and revised the company repository for DML & DDL instruction sets including integrating them with the Continuous Integration Process;

§§ You implemented and used advanced Data Modeling development tools such as ErWin, Enterprise Architect, Toad Data Modeler, etc.;

§§ You were responsible for contributing to and executing upon technical data design plans, including but not limited to platforms, system integration, database implementation and reports and dashboard design and implementation.
