SFDC Apex developer with Salesforce Canvas and integrations experience.
Our client has a project kicking off in which we'll need two strong Apex developers to build a deep integration between Salesforce and external cloud application. The integration will need to make REST calls and use Apex triggers as events to initiate complex data operations into and out of the external SaaS app.
Responsibilities:
- understand product manager's design and high level requirements
- translate from whiteboard diagrams and high level designs to directly write code and develop prototypes and adjust them based on product team's feedback
- develop Apex code to create REST calls from Salesforce to external SaaS application
- develop user provisioning integration logic in Apex / Force.com to react to Apex trigger on user object/save, and to make REST calls to push user record(s) to sync with external application
- develop UI to manage creation of custom triggers and salesforce workflows in an intuitive screen flow - underneath this will be powerful code that creates Apex triggers
Skills & Experience:
- Apex - 3+ years Apex development 100% on salesforce / Force.com
- salesforce Canvas - proven experience developing for Salesforce Canvas
- software development: 5+ years total s/w dev experience
- Force.com development and sysadmin - 3+ years hands on experience
- VisualForce - proven track record developing VF applications and UI
- must have proven track record developing applications from scratch and directly on Force.com/Apex
- must have proven track record developing from high level designs not detailed specs
ten c� n c �?j H�k p>Scripting language (Python, Perl, Shell) experience is desired.
Primary Duties:
Hands on technical contributor of software applications that controls and monitors our suite of production test equipment.
Collaboration with other engineers throughout the Development cycle. Effective at identifying and resolving complex technical test issues and own driving these issues to closure.
Define and write design documents and contribute to the definition of sprints associated with new feature development.
Regularly participate in technical reviews.
Provide regular status and progress towards milestones with program leaders.
