Location: Roseland NJ
Duration: 6-9 month Contract
ORACLE Database product Design Engineer. Min of 10 years of DBA experience, 3 years of recent experience in a Sr level Design Engineer. Minimum of 3-4 years working experience with ORACLE RAC 11g R2/.
they would like some 10 node experience. Experience migrating from Oracle 10g to 11g.
The individual will support Oracle databases as part of Shared Services team. The individual will be part of a global team which is responsible for administration of databases in the development/test/production environments. The job requires a highly motivated individual with excellent analysis and problem solving skills. The individual will be expect to interact with Enterprise Architects, Application Development teams, Unix and Windows System Engineers, Service Managers and Project Managers to promote information sharing, coordinate enterprise information architecture and provide data management operations to ensure the security, quality, performance, and accessibility of the databases and directory structures. Ability to administer advanced tuning, support, and disaster recovery of an Oracle database.
Able to effectively work independently or in a team environment; able to maintain company and customer confidentiality. practices corporate and personal integrity on the highest level. excellent written and verbal communication skills.
