Role: Microstrategy Admin
Location: Topeka, KS
Mode of Hiring: Contract / Contract to hire

Responsibilities
· Serve as MSTR Administrator for Configuration Management and Production Support of MicroStrategy
· Identify process improvements, resolve book of work items and work as part of the MicroStrategy Production Support Team to improve the reliability, capability and availability of this mission critical application
· Work in collaboration with other project leads to develop, implement and support new capabilities and projects within MicroStrategy
· Leverage formal development tools and techniques throughout the problem management life cycle
· Support and help define department wide improvement initiatives internal and external to our team
· Collaborate with and build strong relationships with all levels of IT and business

Desired Skills and Experience
· Total 6-8 years of experience in IT
· 3 years of progressive professional experience as administrative support for MicroStrategy and development jobs
· Strong skills using MicroStrategy and Oracle Data Warehouses to support Business Intelligence reporting
· Strong skills utilizing Narrowcast, Integrity Manager and Distribution Services functionality within Microstrategy
· Strong skills in researching and troubleshooting issues between various layers of technology
· Strong time management skills and a demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple conflicting demands for services and time
· Experience in scripting, and use of SDKs
· Knowledge in the use of Active Directory and Group Policies
· Experience with Change Control procedures used to support MSTR
· Exposure to Unix, Linux, PL/SQL, Performance Tuning, ETL tools, near real time data warehousing, Dashboard / Visualization Techniques
· Exposure to Shell Scripting
