Title: SAS Modeler or Developer

Job Location : San Jose CA

Job Type : contract

Job Duration : 6 months (Extended)

 

Duration: 6 months+

 

·         Overall 8-12 years of strong experience in BI/Analytics with SAS as focus area

·         Experience in SAS predictive modeling

·         Experience with SAS Stat/Miner

·         Any experience with Hadoop would be a plus

·         3+ years working within an enterprise data warehouse environment or Big Data architecture

·         3+ years of experience in developing statistical targeting models using SAS and or R and or SPSS with Strong SQL skills a plus

·         3+ years of business experience in an advanced analytics role within marketing, research or similar groups

·         Advanced data mining and predictive modeling skills (e.g., regression, segmentation, machine learning, SVM, MCMC, Bayesian, boosting, cross-validation)

·         Advanced statistical software user (SAS strongly preferred w/ SAS/STAT, SAS/MACRO, E-Miner)

·         Experience with experimental test design (A/B split, full factorial, fractional factorial)

·         Keen ability to visualize data through graphing/ charting/ information display skills (strong Power Point skills are essential)
