Location: SFO, CA

Contract: 6+ Months

 

Technology stack:            Java/J2EE, Jenkins, WebSphere, Facets, EDIFECS,  

Experience:                       5+ experience in release engineering, and overall 7+ years of experience

Tools Administration & Architecture	User Access New project setup (standard JIRA/SVN/Jenkins) Custom JIRA workflow projects Software upgrades (Atlassian Products, Jenkins, Subversion) Proactive maintenance support (backups, DB/OS patching, etc.) Audit & Risk Remediation SCRM Disaster Recovery Testing Source Code Repository Architecture JIRA & Atlassian tool Architecture
Problem & Incident Resolution	Problem & Incident Resolution Root cause analysis Fix & Test Implement resolution Updates to process/policy docs
Version Control	Troubleshoot branch or merge issues Create new repositories Modify repository structures
Software Build & Deployment (including Automation)	Build & Deployment Automation Identify jobs for automation Test & Deploy
Release Management	Define platform specific release schedules (non-production) Define release scope
Department Management	Demand management Stakeholder management with Development & QA partners
