·         Proficiency with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

·         Knowledge of the programming language(s), application server, database server and/or architecture of the system being developed

·         Strong working knowledge of the following: Java/J2EE, EJB, Struts, Hibernate, Spring, ASP, BEA - Web logic, SQL, Oracle, Swing (plus)

·         Knowledge of Solaris (2.8), UNIX, & windows)

·         UNIX shell scripting experience

·         Good communication and technical writing skills
