Title: Delivery Manager- IT infrastructure projects
Location: Mooresville, NC
Duration: 12+ Months
We have an urgent need for an ITIS Delivery Manager in Mooresville, NC for duration of 12 Months.
Skills and Experience:
- Proficient in project management techniques and practices. Experience leading complex IT infrastructure projects. Ethernet knowledge a plus. DMX4 & VMAX knowledge a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates
- Consolidated IT project work plan (MS Project)
- Resource tracking
- Hardware tracking
- Infrastructure Software tracking
- Functional Milestones and deliverables tracking for assigned project
- Create and manage Issue and Risk Logs
- Create and manage contingency plans
- Create and manage decision documents
- Create and manage Mitigation Plan
- Lessons Learned documentation
- Weekly Status Reports
- Manages Issues Management database
- IT Engineering input for any required IT SDLC Deliverables
- Maintain project deliverables in SharePoint
- Other duties as assigned

Scope and Additional Information:
Primary responsibility is to serve as an IT Project Manager supporting project/program related tasks assigned projects. Responsibilities for this role include collaborating with IT project managers to develop and maintain a consolidated project work plan, resource planning (including professional services, hardware and software), coordinating equipment build activities, attending key program meetings, documenting key issues and escalating accordingly, communicating to key stakeholders within the Program about critical decisions and ensuring timely completion of those decisions.
Primary Responsibilities for this engagement include:
1. Develop and manage detailed project work plan for assigned project/program
2. Collaborate with IT project managers to update and manage cross-functional milestones and dependencies
3. Facilitate meetings as needed
4. Publish meeting minutes
5. Coordinate equipment build activities
6. Develop and manage IT Engineering resource plan in Excel
7. Develop and manage list of required hardware and software in Excel
8. Facilitate resource allocations for projects in Clarity (company's current financial and time management system)
9. Prioritize and communicate proactively to manage departmental expectations regarding status/timing of resource availability (includes hardware and software)
10. When required, develop IT Engineering option summaries and recommendations to escalate and present to key decision makers
11. Document infrastructure project progress in weekly status reports
