Duration: 6-12 plus Months

Job Description: • Leads the design and implementations associated with Mysql administration and management. • Validates current business practices against industry standards, working with vendors to propose enhancements/efficiencies, and setting up performance baselines and operational agreements. • Managing Mysql software releases, minimizing incident/problem impacts to the enterprise, and implementing new solutions are also responsibilities of the position. • Leads architecture discussions around design, data integration, recoverability and resiliency and leads complex discussions with users on large database designs. • Serve as an expert and guides others in the resolution of the most complex incidents and problems. • Supervises problem management to ensure root cause is identified and that processes are in place to prevent reoccurrence. • Supervise database maintenance. • Designs database maintenance and upgrade processes and provides incident/problem management support. • Supervise database creation activities of DBA team. • Miminum of 5 year Mysql experience • Demonstrate strong leadership skills and communication skills • Experience with nosql is a plus
