Position: Mobile Automation Tester

Duration: 6+ Months

Location: Johns Creek, GA

Availability: Immediate

Rate: $45/HR on C2C   Description:

5+ years Mainframe testing, 5+ years Software application testing techniques and quality assurance practices. 5+ years of experience with all phase of the test cycle (Tes planning, Test case development, test execution, regression & system test) Hands on test script creation and execution experience in Web/Java environment desired. Experience logging and tracking defects. Experience testing on handheld devices (Motorola 3190, 3190z, Ipod touch, iPad, android) Experience with test management tool HP Quality Center create HPT/UTF. Experience testing report functionality (operation and analytical data warehouse reports a plus Relations DB/SQL experience (query database to verify test results / find test data etc/ Identify major developmental or design risk and action plans. Excellent verbal/written communication skills - Strong understanding and experience working with Object Repository - Strong understanding of SQL queries and GUI design standards, especially as they relate to test automation object recognition - Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written), and be able to communicate interact effectively with all levels of management as well as a diverse technical team. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to significant amounts of change in work assignments and priorities. - Extensive experience coordinating with offshore QA teams. - Seen as a key contributor to the overall project team, and a technical resource on automation testing. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Knowledge of multiple coding languages and able to understand the algorithmic ideas behind the code and software development fundamentals. - Knowledge of system interactions and data flows, especially identification of impact from requests/changes. - Has developed a broad understanding of the environment at MST, to apply an understanding of the interoperability of systems and technologies to the testing effort.  - Has experience with structuring the automated testing tasks on multiple projects, estimating schedules, resources and dependencies - Understands the key business metrics related to the project and customer area, and ensures that senior management is provided the correct metrics - Understands and can identify the key business processes within the project. Understands and can discuss the interrelationship of businesses and technologies within the project. - Reviews and utilizes customer business and functional requirements in the development of test plans and scenarios.  - Develops strategies for improving test processes, and recommends to management.  - Develops sophisticated automation testing plans, demonstrating a high level of understanding of what activities are necessary at each phase of testing. - 3 + years hands on experience with HP testing technology ( i.e QTP, QC, ALM, UFT, etc.) or equivalent - 3+ years of web services automation experience with Soap UI Pro, Parasoft/SOA Test or equivalent - 5+ years of automation scripting experience - 3+ years of coding experience with one or more of the following languages Java/C# or equivalent. - 3+ years of experience with continuous integration and build tools (i.e. jUnit, Maven, Jenkins or equivalent)  - 3+ years of experience with SQL Queries - 3+ years of experience with building or maintaining an automated test framework is required. - 3+ years of experience with object oriented programing languages - 3+ years of experience using an industry standard source control management system  - 3+ years of experience using Agile software development life cycle - 3+ years of experience with TDD/BDD - 2+ years of experience with Cucumber Feature File and Ruby Step Definition preferred - Experience working with JSON, XML, SOAP APIs.
