Position               : Performance Testing

Location               : Cupertino, CA

Duration              : 3-6 Months

Experience         : 5-8 Years

 

Job Requirement & Technical Skills Required:

 

·         JMeter experience is Mandatory, Load Runner.

·         Evaluation of requirements and review test objectives and to design Performance test approach.

·         Experience in performance Test engineering and design.

·         Designing Performance Test Framework, methodologies, strategies, approaches and processes.

·         Good knowledge of creating and executing test cases, documenting test results & logging defects.

·         Ability to handle multi tasks. Guiding offshore team on performance testing and providing support to team.

·         Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

·         Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus.

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work independently.

·         Preparing test cases and test plans for the project releases and maintenance releases .

·         Logging defects, reporting the defect status and follow-up on closing the defect during its life cycle.

·         Ability to handle multiple assignments and suggest/build optimal.

·         Performance test solutions which can ensure effective testing of the products.

·         Should work Independently.

Performance Test Engineering

·         Experience in analysing the bottlenecks and identifying an optimal configuration

·         Proficient in the concepts of Capacity Modeling

·         Hands-on Knowledge on any one Open Source Tools like Open STA, Web Load, JMeter, WAS etc.

·         Proficient in authoring Test Tools for Performance that includes the Data Loader, Resource Monitor, Results Macro etc.

 

JMeter

 

Application Testing

·         Should be able to differentiate the different testing phases like Unit Integration, System, Acceptance, Regression testing

·         Should be capable to perform these tests with the help of ready-test cases.

·         Should understand Test Plans, Requirement Traceability Matrix, Orthogonal Array Tool.

·         Should be able to do metrics analysis and reliability analysis effectively with DFA tool.

 

Performance Testing

 

Test Framework

·         Excellent knowledge of a complete infotainment system and its various subsystems

·         Knowledge of developing detailed system and software specifications

·         Ability to analyse emerging technology trends and their application in infotainment systems.

·         Ability to participate in external events and seminars

·         Ability to support teams during complex integration phases and support difficult debug issues.

 

Load Runner

·         Knowledge and experience on Load Runner Virtual User Generator for creating scripts using atleast one protocol(preferably Web).

·         Knowledge and experience on Load Runner Controller for building and executing the performance test scenarios.

·         Knowledge and experience in developing reports using Load Runner Analysis.
