Job: SAS Support Admin - Developer
Contract length – 1 year
Location: Downtown Chicago,IL

Overview
Here is what we are looking for in the SAS support contractor resource:

Dedicated onsite SAS support resource
Experience in SAS platform administration support, including migration of models through the environments, tuning, troubleshooting
Experience in developing financial models and business rules
SAS application support for our existing SAS models in production, as well as for the new SAS models that are being developed as part of the Financial Planning project – after they are implemented into production and after project post go-live support ends.
80% of the time supporting applications, feeds, and models, and working with business users in a programmer/analyst function
20% of the time on SAS platform administration support, including migration of models through the environments, tuning, troubleshooting
Experience in developing financial models and business rules
Up-to-date on current SAS modules and SAS best practices
Experience with SAS in an Enterprise, including working with SAS Stored Processes, Map Studio, Web Report Studio, Enterprise Guide, and Data Integration Studio
Good communication skills
Able to work effectively with business users as well as IT technical resources

They will be 80% development and 20% administration.  This is the feedback from the other candidates that were submitted:
We are looking for someone who could fill both roles -- SAS platform administration support, as well as application, feed, and model support (including working with business users in a programmer/analyst function).  The candidate also needs experience in actually developing financial models and business rules.  These candidates look like they've done SAS reports and extraction / loading of data, but not a lot of designing and developing models with business rules.
