Position: Core Java developer
Location: Boston, MA
Duration: 6-9 months

We have an urgent need for a Core Java developer
§ Participate in server-side development activity for back-end Java-based services using REST, SOAP or related protocols • Collaborate with business analysts, other developers, and QA team members to build and deploy applications in support of business and technical initiatives.
§ Qualifications • A BS or BA in Computer Science or Information Technology •
§ Minimum of 8 years of development experience •
§ Financial service experience and knowledge of exchange traded derivatives and fixed income products strongly preferred.
§ Required Skills • Proficiency in Java development, RESTful service development, JUnit, SQL, and experience with database technologies such as Oracle •
§ Strong understanding of frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, and Apache Camel •
§ Familiarity with messaging technologies such as IBM MQ / ActiveMQ, UNIX shell scripting, build/SCM tools like TeamCity/Bamboo/Jenkins, SVN/GIT/Perforce, Maven
§ A consummate team player that can work on demanding projects under extremely tight deadlines.
