Job Title – Mainframe Technical Lead
Location – Buffalo, NY
Duration – 6 - 12 Contract

Rate – DOE                                                                                                                                                                        

 

Job Description –

Strong mainframe knowledge and hands on work experience is a must.Knowledge in COBOL, CICS, DB2, SQL, JCL, Endevor, TWS, VSAM, Expediter and File-aid 
SAS EFM experience is required. Cards processing experience is a major plus.    

Skill set

ü  Coordinate GRV code deployment

ü  Provide design solution for business requirements ensuring the technical design conforms to SWH standards.

ü  Participate in the design solution for any local enhancement to ensure adherence to SWH standards with a view to potential eligibility for globalization

ü  Work with other IT teams for a full solution as appropriate

ü  Analysis and coordination of product data mappings

ü  Supervise build of environments

ü  Consult with business partners or regional IT teams for application configuration

ü  Knowledge in COBOL, CICS, DB2, SQL, JCL, Endevor, TWS, VSAM, Expediter and File-aid

ü  Review MF code / JCL changes and batch schedules

ü  Conduct connectivity tests, performance tests and other tests as deemed necessary

ü  Oversee script execution and defect resolution as defined by project scope

ü  Knowledge in SWH Engineering principles

ü  Be a technical contact for products issues w/ vendor (if necessary)

ü  Work with Product Manager to include defect resolution /enhancements for a future release
