The Distributed Systems C/C++ Development Contractor will interface, support and develop back-end SaaS applications and services.
Essential Functions:
• Develop and support back-end SaaS applications and services in a multi-tiered, multi-site configuration
• Design systems from a programming and database perspective
Knowledge & Skills:
• Experience with the development of C/C++ services, interfaces, classes, and libraries
• Experience with C/C++ programming in a Linux/Unix environment
• Experience with Data structures
• Experience with DB2
• Experience with TDD, Unit Testing preferred
• Experience in an Agile/SCRUM environment a plus
• Experience working with source control and continuous integrations tools, Team Foundation Server preferred
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including MS Projects, Word, Excel and Outlook
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail, ability to prioritize and see projects through to completion
• Must have a professional demeanor and be able to effectively work with other staff within the organization
Experience & Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of experience in Linux/C++ programming
• Helpful to have knowledge of Automated Clearing House (ACH) processing.
