Position: : Business Analyst with Risk Data Reporting

Location: Charlotte NC

About the Role:

We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong understanding of regulatory reporting / capital, financial subject area knowledge.  This person should have Business Analyst experience in data-extensive projects (ideally Basel, CCAR projects).  This person needs to have solid communication, writing, and the ability to get a point across quickly and concisely. This person needs to have financial domain knowledge, preferably in Capital Management for a Basel 3 remediation project.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

 

Process Documentation to demonstrate the data flow of information into and out of Capital (Lineage)

• End to End Process Mapping Lineage
• Business Metadata
• Technical Metadata

 

Data Controls

• Document Data Controls in place across the end to end data flow
• Identify gaps in the current control based on the minimum required controls per the standards
• Identify Control opportunities above and beyond the required controls
• Close identified gaps in the Controls

 

Basic Technical Requirements:

• Good Visio skills.
• Advanced MS Excel experience
• Exposure to compliance reporting

 

Skills:

 

·         Procedure/policy documentation writing experience in the data governance / management area

·         Risk/Compliance reporting exposure in financial services

·         Knowledge of SQL is a plus
