Position Description        The candidate will be working as part of the Bill Pay team within the Banking Technology group, based out of New York. Bill Pay team works on projects related to development of applications dealing with customer payment data, supporting payments on Mobile as well as Online channels. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, experienced, hands-on individual with proven track record of leading a development team and with strong sense of ownership. Must have experience in .NET Technologies (WCF/ REST-Services) in Finance domain, committed to delivering on time and able to work with minimal supervision.

 

Responsibilities           

1. Work closely with the Delivery Manager to design/ develop solutions for payments processing.

2.Take ownership of projects and lead a team of developers through the SDLC phases, guiding, supervising them and taking complete responsibility of the work delivered.

3.Collaborate with the Stakeholders, Business Analyst and PM to define requirements, plan tasks and execute projects.

4.Report on daily/ weekly updates on the development tasks to the Delivery Manager/ PM.

5.Collaborate with Onsite/ offshore teams, Vendor partners, other development teams and testing teams to deliver projects.

 

Skills Required   Mandatory:

1.At least 5+ years (relevant) IT experience in .NET implementing WCF services, preferably on .NET 4.5, designing and developing REST-services

2.Hands-on in .NET concepts, especially multi-threading, database interaction, MEF

3.Good communication skills

4.Proven ability to lead a development team, working across organization boundaries and delivering quality solutions on-time.

5.Experience in Financial domain.

2.Good grasp of design patterns

3.Working in a global team spanning multiple locations
