Job Title:  Lawson Application Developer 

Location:  Phoenix, AZ

Duration:  6-12 months Contract

Required background:

Requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology or Business discipline or equivalent experience.

IBM, Oracle or Microsoft software development certifications or a PMP certification are a plus.

Requires 6 or more years development experience primarily creating new applications in a hospital or medical related industry.

Experience working with project life cycle and project management methodologies required.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology or Business discipline or equivalent experience.

Requires 6 or more years IT experience with EFM/ESC applications in a hospital or medical related industry.

Experience working with project life cycle and project management methodologies required.

Significant experience and mastery using Lawson Cobol.

Extensive working knowledge of Design Studio and JavaScript.

Working to expert knowledge of Process Flow.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Extensive knowledge of all of the following:

Database knowledge and relationships

Basic screens and reports

Functional knowledge most areas (AP, MM, HR, PR, GL, RQ, PO)

Complex reports, data extracts and imports

Screen selects and drop downs

Drill around features

Self Service pages (HTML and JavaScript)Time management best practices

Project management methodologies and tools (MS Project)

Development effort estimation techniques

Keeping technologically current and learning new technologies
