Job Description –

Client is looking for an Agile Project Manager to support Client Application development teams. This is an opportunity to work with Client's engineering, a team of world class team at the forefront of innovation and technology.
As a member of the PMO team, candidate will work with highly skilled individuals who have been shaping the video engineering and content delivery industry in the US for years with solid technical expertise. Key focus of candidate shall be on introduction of Agile methodologies to the team to streamline development processes across various components of the media lifecycle.

Day to Day Functions:

Serve as an Agile coach to introduce client development teams to various Agile processes in the DirecTV context.

Come up with a Scrum based project plan for the development team consisting of well-defined Sprints to cover the upcoming iterations of deliverables, and obtain client acceptance on the same.

Serve as Scrum master and drive execution across various development teams as per the identified plan.

Incorporate feedback from current projects to further improve the project plan / processes for other modules / teams as well.

Nice to Have: 

Understanding of Web services and SOA Architecture.

Media domain knowledge related to video streaming, OTT and program guide.

Understanding of Key Process and Quality standards like ITIL, ISO.

Qualifications

Requires BS in related discipline (i.e., Computer Science, Information Systems) and 3-5 years of experience in related field (i.e., Network Engineering, Satellite / Cable / IP Video Delivery)

Overall 10+ years with a minimum
