Location: Washington DC. Rate: depends on experience.

 

We are seeking an experienced Web Administrator to perform the following duties.

 

System administration tasks to include installation and configuration of hardware, firmware, software, system upgrades, evaluation and installation of patching, backing up and restoring files, application deployment and database configuration for related applications.

·         Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs.

·         Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required of virtual systems.

·         Provide IIS, Apache, SQL, and programming support as required.

·         Verify infrastructure systems, services, and networks.

·         Provide support for the Video Teleconferencing system.

 

Requirements:

 

·         Must have at least 10 years of related professional experience.

·         Must have solid experience in administering IIS, Apache

·         Solid analytical and troubleshooting skill

·         Excellent communication skills
