Senior Business Analyst - Salesforce CRM
Location: Midtown NYC
Duration: Long Term Consulting

Our client, in NYC is seeking a Business Analyst with strong salesforce  experience.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

 •        Developing and eliciting requirements, testing & training strategies

•        Understanding (functional and technical) requirements needed to address needs

•        scoping and planning of Salesforce.com and CRM related projects

•        User support with global clients (Europe, Asia and South America)

•        Participate in drafting the test strategy, test plans, hands-on execution of test scripts and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

  

Requirements:

*5+ years experience as a Business Analyst

* 1 YEAR Salesforce experience

* VERY STRONG verbal and written communication skills

*  UAT experience

*  MS Visio, Excel and Word experience

* Must have experience creating BRD's and FRD's.

 Solid BA skills are more important than Salesforce experience (although we do need some Salesforce experience).  We need a BA who will be able to function with minimal instruction (but not have a problem following a defined process)

Must be able to provide writing sample.

•         Experience working on projects with multiple diverse stakeholders (different lines of business and/or geography)

•         Experience supporting salespeople and/or ERP experience (of course, Salesforce experience fits on both accounts and is highly preferred)

•         Knowing when to escalate issues and to whom and why

  SCREENER QUESTIONS

 1] Have you ever worked with Stakeholders who asked for something different from what they really wanted?

           o   If there's hesitation, that's not a good sign.  A good, seasoned Business Analyst runs into this all the time and can give examples of how they continued to probe to get to the real deal. 

2]         Have you ever worked with Stakeholders who disagreed with each other (or stakeholders who provided conflicting requirements)?

           o   If the conflicting requirements or disagreement is strictly with regard to timelines, priorities, or incompatible systems, that's not good enough.  I am mainly concerned about business problems that are in conflict.  I want to know that the candidate knows what to resolve and what to escalate.  If the stakeholders are all part of IT, then the candidate is not suitable either.  We need a business-facing BA.

3]         Have you worked on global (or international) projects?
