Skills/Qualifications

• Established technical knowledge in software development methodologies and implementation of Web and Windows applicationsutilizing Microsoft .NET technology stack.
• Possess mature understanding of the entire development process, including specification, documentation and quality assurance.
• Strong hands onexperience in one or more of the following: C# .net, VB.net , ASP, Design Patterns, Object Oriented Programming, SOA, REST, MVC, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Ajax, jQuery, web technologies, XML, multi-tiered application development, Microsoft SQL Server, Reporting tools like Microsoft SSRS
• Strong experience with SQL/Oracle database modelling, design and development and T-SQL. Writing stored procedures, view objects.
• Strong experience in User Interface development.
• Strong experience with source control tools, common IDE's.
• Experience with server management (Microsoft IIS) to provide basic administration and code builds
• Experience with Angular JS a plus
• Experience with Dot Net Nuke a plus
• Experience with Cloud, iOS/Android Development, Mobile development a plus
• Proven ability to successfully deliver high-quality, complex systems using Software development methods,independently as well as in a team environment.
• Strong analytical/problem solving skills
• Displays effective and professional written, verbal and non-verbal communication.
• Demonstrated aptitude for creativity, analytical skills and complex problem-solving, developing approaches to solve problems; formalizing plans to address issues
• Desire to learn, grow and constantly face new challenges.
• Prior banking/financial services experience a plus

 

Education and Work Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or Software Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience as a software developer and/or other similar relevant experience.
• Strong technical background, including a minimum of 8 years experience in the field of software design, application development and support.
