JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in the design and building of dashboards and reporting as well as perform quality assurance to ensure the accuracy of the reports.

 

Our established client is seeking a SharePoint BI Developer for a long-term contract position in Sandy Springs. In this role, you will assist in the design and building of dashboards and reporting as well as perform quality assurance to ensure the accuracy of the reports.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitates reporting requirements discussions to capture report design and data requirements. 
• Designs, develops, tests and troubleshoots dashboards and reports developed from the Data Warehouse and the Operational Data Store utilizing SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), PowerPivot,  Performance Point and other BI tools.
• Work closely with SharePoint team to integrate report/dashboard delivery via organization intranet.
• Assist in the development of a reporting security matrix to ensure data exposure at appropriate organization levels of authority.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in development of BI/Data Warehouse solutions via Microsoft SSRS, SSAS, PowerPivot and Performance Point. 
• 3+ years of experience utilizing the SharePoint BI platform.
• Strong T-SQL skills including advanced coding and performance and tuning.
• Strong understanding of DW processes and OLAP concepts, with star and snowflake data models. 
• Experience utilizing source control software. 

Experience with Microsoft Power BI is highly preferred, but not required.
