Description:

The Project Manager will manage multiple projects within OSS suite of Products with a Telecom/Cable client. The PM will work with project sponsors, accountable managers and third party vendors to define business benefits, requirements, and project scope. This position will provide guidance on project methodology and best practices to the teams and Vendors involved in projects. 

 

As a PM, this position Defines and manages project success/delivery criteria and monitors and reports on the realization of project success against criteria set. The position will define risk management plan, analyzes risk for criticality, probability, and impact and develops  risk mitigation strategies, assigns owner and actions.

 

Qualifications: (what skills are required)

·         Minimum of five years working experience as a Project Manager  with a Telecom or Cable Client

·         Experience of BSS/OSS solutions specializing in Catalog, Order Management or provisioning

·         Experience managing third party vendor relationships is required.

·         Knowledge of OSS suite of applications (such as Catalogue or Cloud Service Broker) is a definite advantage.

·         Knowledge of Net cracker OSS Products is Preferable.

·         Experience Managing OSS Solution Integration through various possible mechanisms is preferred (e.g. P2P, web services, EAI/ESB/middleware).

·         Good understanding of enterprise architecture practices is preferable.

·         Provide oversight in forecasting, managing, tracking, and reporting project progress, issues, budget, and scope changes to achieve successful project completion, on-time, and within budget

·         Facilitate with customer, end users, and other stakeholders in joint analysis sessions to ensure an understanding of business goals, requirements and deliverables

·         Manage project team activities: analyzes complex business problems to provide appropriate solutions; implements solutions that leverage technology to accomplish stated strategic business objectives

·         PMP Certification preferred
