Job Title: ETL Tester

Location: Washington, DC

Duration: 9 Months+

 

Job Description:

• Review functional, design, interface mapping, report specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables
• Execute and evaluate manual test cases and report test results
• Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plan in HP ALM tool
• Develop, document and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts including test data, data validation
• Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes liaison with development, project management.
• Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements
• Perform Backend database testing to validate the data using complex SQL queries, PL/SQL, Oracle
• Perform Integration test by running ETL jobs, validating data loads, troubleshooting job execution errors and executing test scripts
• Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management
• Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements
• Publish test metrics and issues and resolution for approval on completion of testing
• Assist QA Lead on status, risks and their resolutions as they relate to testing and quality assurance.
 
 
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or Engineering with 6+ years in Software Quality Assurance, Testing and Test Management;
