Title:  Oracle APEX Developer

Location: VA

Duration: 6-12 Months

Oracle APEX Developer with 5+ years of experience in implementing web-based solutions with in the Federal sector.

Responsibilities:

• Support design and development and maintenance of a custom-built, web-based application for Federal Clients
• Implement new features and bug fixes resulting from change requests and defects from previous releases
• Conduct and participate in code reviews, design reviews, and architecture reviews
• Build and maintain technical documentation conforming to required standards
• Assist in the estimation of effort related to the technical aspects of the system
• Perform deployment, troubleshooting, and administration of the system

Skills & Requirements

• 5+ years of demonstrated experience in implementation of large web based solutions
• Experience working (high-level working knowledge) with the following technologies / languages:
• Oracle APEX
• Oracle Procedural Language / Structured Query Language (PL/SQL)
• Web Design – specifically CSS, HTML, JavaScript and AJAX
• Oracle 11g or newer database – including data definition language (DDL) for Oracle 10g
• CA Erwin Data Modeler
• Oracle BI Publisher
• Demonstrated experience in deployment, troubleshooting, and administration of web-based applications
• Proven experience in integrating systems using various formats (e.g., XML, CSV, flat file, direct database connection, and/or web service)

Required qualities/skills:

• Senior-level work experience in software development
• Served as a Team Lead on software engineering projects and ability to coordinate project tasks, and assist in the development, organization, and execution, and daily support of assigned project(s)
• Strong Organizational Skills and the ability to support multiple distinct projects at a time
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills (effectively communicating program details to all levels of management)
• Organized, motivated and demonstrate the ability to work under minimal supervision to achieve desired objectives.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Management, Computer Science or related engineering
