Job Title: QA Tester with Derviatives and FIX protocol
Location: NYC
Duration: 10 MONTHS+
Knowledge of Derivatives products is mandatory
We are looking for technical candidate who is willing to do Agile testing with the developer. We are looking for people very strong in Linux, SQL, Fix, Middle wire and understand technical design of complex distributed application architecture.
Required Qualifications
Solid understanding of QA methodology, processes and procedures
Knowledge of trade life cycle, trading applications testing and bookings – critical
Good unix skills and SQL skills - critical
Knowledge of Equities products, Synthetics would be added advantage but not a must
Develop and execute grey box tests for applications that support the cash equities system. Interacting closely with development teams to identify, isolate, and fix software defects.
Ability to work independently on multiple projects
Experience with Test Driven Testing process
Commitment to delivering great software and releasing it quickly, efficiently and with increasing quality
Preferred Qualifications
Cash Equity business knowledge
Bookings and Settlements knowledge
4-5+ years QA experience
Ability to multi-task effectively
Excellent verbal and written skill
