STRONG COMMUNICATIONS AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT SKILLS REQUIRED! Since this is a remote position there will be a lot of phone/email communication with numerous clients and EDI partners on multiple projects simultaneously.

 

This role requires a NAV Developer that will focus on EDI implementations with new trading partners. We have a portion of our EDI transactions that are processed through Lanham's EDI granule. We recently purchased the EDI solution called Vantage Point and are transitioning all of our EDI to the new system. This role will be responsible for new implementations and the migration off Lanham.

 

* Manage EDI customer implementations to meet EDI requirements and customer timelines.

* Coordinate with Third Party EDI providers and new Trading Partners to set up new processes and provide optimal level of customer service.

* Collaborate with trading partners and perform tests on all EDI transmissions.

* Maintain all documents for trading partner set ups and analyze all customer requirements for processes.

* Design EDI map documents to integrate with our Navision ERP.

* Manage all service calls and provide tech support to resolve all issues pertaining to inbound and outbound data transfer.

* Perform, troubleshoot, and repair of scripts when needed and evaluate all automated processes.

* Provide technical support to all EDI applications and monitor all inquiries and tickets.

* Analyze EDI transactions and prepare required documents and reports for customer service and operations staff as needed.

* Create XML ports as required to interface with EDI transactions

* Manage all communication with customers and perform all EDI tests necessary for production.

* Coordinate with trading partners to maintain effective EDI relationships and provide support to all internal departments and vendors.

* Write and maintain program code or modify existing programs to customize software to business needs as time permits.

 

What You Need for this Position

* A minimum of 5 years NAV development experience.

* Must be able to create SQL views and stored procedures.

* Ability to effectively work with both business and technical users

* Hands on experience with backend EDI mapping

* Familiarity with a variety of the EDI concepts, practices and procedures

* Excellent organizational, planning and follow-up skills with attention to detail

* Ability to work independently with minimal direction toward program objectives

* Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university preferred
