Location: Palo Alto,CA
Duration: 3 month contract
RATE:$52/ Hr on C2C max..!!
Description:
The engineer would work closely with both the engineering to support a growing family of analytic applications for Games.
Develop and maintain on large-scale Analytics reporting applications.
Iterate on two weeks development cycles with frequent releases to a large community of internal users.
Collaborate closely with a talented team of analytics engineers and analysts.
Work effectively in a fast paced, highly data driven, changing environment. Multi-tasking and prioritize projects.
Create a robust set of tools to enable rapid exploration, development and deployment of solutions around data processing.
Qualifications:
BS or MS degree in Computer Science or technology-related field; or equivalent experience.
3-5 years of development experience in visualization tools.

Experience with large internet, media, or entertainment business models strongly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to synthesize business requirements from customer inputs.

Willing to and capable of quickly and actively understanding and adapting to changes in business requirement, environment, process, tools and new technology.

Technical Skills
Experience in Data Visualization tools using HTML, NODE.JS, AJAX, APACHE/Nginx, javascript.
Experience in web framework eg: Django
Proficiency in scripting to manipulate data, develop tools and automate process in unix/linux environment.
Experience in Python, Java.
Familiarity with the following technologies:
- Linux environments including CentOS and Ubuntu
Proficient in Linux environment.
Strong analytical, debugging and trouble shooting skills.
Experience in human computer interaction, data visualization, or business intelligence are a plus.
Knowledge and experience of analytics solutions and processes in web analytics is a big plus.
Basic familiarity with analytical tools such as: MicroStrategy, Business Objects or Tableau useful as context.
Project, Process, Implementation Skills & Experience
Experience contributing to project task prioritization, planning, estimating, work assignment, & quality assurance at every stage of a project.
Experience with technical proof of concept initiatives strongly preferred.
0-3 years software development experiences on distributed and high availability systems.
Strong programming skill in coding, algorithm using compiled language and script languages.
Experienced with development processes and lifecycles in a technology organization.
Experience in Advanced Analytics and tools like SAS,R, SPSS a plus.
Broad experience base w/ two or more of the following work environments a plus: Internet company, fortune 500 company, software company, consulting firm, or a media company.
NoSQL data stores like MongoDB, HBase, Cassandra, Couchbase - optional
Revision control systems like, Git, Perforce - optional
