Network Security Analyst - IL - 6 Months

Job Title: Network Security Analyst

Location: IL  

Duration: 6 Months

Looking for someone with the following required skills and qualities:

·           Significant experience in supporting  network firewalls and proxy servers

·           Significant experience in TCP/IP networking, including network design and troubleshooting.

·           1 to 2 years' experience in network sniffers and packet analysis.

·           1 to 2 years' experience in general security.

Also should have the following desired skills and qualities:

·         Experience in a Unix operating systems.

·         Experience in setting up and supporting VPNs.

·         Experience in supporting Cisco and CheckPoint firewalls.

·         Experience in scripting languages such as Shell and Perl.

·         Strong customer service and results focus.

·         Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

·         Strong problem resolution and decision making skills.

·         Working both independently and in a team environment.

·         Ability to handle competing priorities.

·         Able to consult other Business areas.

·         Sound decision-making ability regarding matters of moderate to high complexity and importance.

·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to solve complex problems logically and systematically

·         Self-motivated; Ability to work independently on matters of moderate to high complexity and importance with only broad direction.

·         High technical aptitude.               

·         Security and/or Network Certification is a plus, especially CISSP
