Position Title : Datastage Specialist

Locations:  Jersey City, NJ

Duration: Long Term Contract

Experience & Skills :

• 9+ years experience, Strong Candidate.
• Provide functional and technical assistance to the development team
• Document and suggest the ETL design/standards with industry level best practices
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex ETL issues
• Provide L3\L4 support for Datastage Version 7.5.3. Enterprise Edition platform.
• Change requests & release planning
• Bug fixing (corrective maintenance)
• On Demand L3\L4 support only in case of major issues on complex ETL jobs.
• Provide solutions for Optimization and Performance Tuning of the exiting jobs.
• Only provide support on existing ETL jobs related issues.
• Lead overall ETL processes and architecture, performed build, tested and deployed activities related to BI and data warehouse implementations
• Architect, Installation, configuration, Setup and Administration  IBM InfoSphere suite of products.
• Used ETL Tool, to create jobs for extracting the data from different databases, flat files & Mainframe files.
• Extensively Implemented Error Handling Concepts, Testing, Debugging, Engineering skills and Performance tuning of targets, sources, transformation logics.
• Works closely with client and technical management, and with related support groups to design and implement databases and database support tools and procedures in support of complex business application development requirements and processes
