Job Title: Sr. Java Developer                               
Duration: 06 months contract                     
Location: Richfield, MN.

Responsibilities/Deliverables that the resource will be responsible for :

·             60% Development, 40% Lead

·             Prepare detailed low level design documentation from requirements and interface specification that conform to application architecture and design guidelines

·             Ability to follow defined design patterns

·             Perform unit testing of the code

·             Perform developer integration testing with other code modules/external system interfaces

·             Support QA testing and fix defects

·             Provide documentation required for transitioning development to support teams

·             Work with BA's and the Solution Architect to understand business requirements solution architecture and translate those into new applications, as well as developing.  

Must Have Skill :

·             Core Java / Java / J2EE (Thread, Reflection, Inheritance, Polymorphism, Collections, Interface, Abstract, Exception Handling)

·             Required minimum 8 Years of experience with Java / J2EE technologies.

·             Hibernate

·             Spring

·             Oracle PL/SQL Development

·             Struts

·             XML/ XSD/ WSDL

·             JBoss and Weblogic Server

·             Interface development experience, including working with Web services, WSDL and XSD preferably with Weblogic and Axis APIs

·             Should have knowledge SOAP and REST Web Services

·             Maven .  

Other Skills :

·             Experience with Java development for data-intensive and batch processing applications using Oracle databases

·             Oracle PL-SQL development skills

·             Should have basic Knowledge of MQ.

·             Should have good knowledge of JBOSS Server

·             Development using JUnit unit test framework, or similar

·             Background working on Agile development teams

·             Excellent scores with Sun Java Programmers Certification exam or Brainbench Java programmers certification exam.

Nice to Have Skills :

·             Experience with TIBCO

·             Experience developing POS or retail systems, or integrating with packaged retail software systems

·             Retail and/or Telecom environment experience

·             Strong presentation skills (e.g. comfortable performing regular demos of system functionality for business stakeholders).
