Description :
Develop cost effective software applications to address complex client area requirements and processes (e.g., new enhancements or maintenance) in the Personal Lines Technology department. Coordinate complex client area requirements and processes for diverse development platforms, computing environments, distributed systems, and software. Prepare application system specifications. Develop tests and implement efficient and cost effective application solutions in support of Maintenance projects within the Personal Lines Technology department. Research and evaluate alternative solutions and recommend the most efficient and cost effective solution for the systems design. Devise, test, and implement cost effective application program solutions.

Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related field, and 5 years of experience in the job offered or 5 years of progressive experience in Mainframe Applications, Web Applications, and KANA product.

Must also have experience with the following:
At least two higher level programming languages, such as Cobol, Java Script, Java
Design, development, and testing of Personal Lines (Auto and Home Insurance) policy administration system solutions within the insurance industry
Procedural programming
Web-based development
Database architecture with SQL development, stored procedures, functions, and SQL transactions
iStrobe, BMC Mainview, XML, XSLT, BMC Middleware, transaction management and Business Objects software suite
At least two higher level programming languages, such as Cobol, Java Script, Java
