A leader in the eCommerce industry that has been named one of the Best Places to Work in LA by the LA Business Journal year after year is hiring a Drupal Developer to join their team to consult directly with consumers and help them shape their technical solutions.  In this position you will develop technical solutions for multiple client projects and participate in creating cutting edge eCommerce and mobile sites.  You must be familiar with Drupal module and theme development. You should be comfortable with Drupal Form API, database abstraction layer, using AJAX in Drupal forms, responsive theming, etc.  If you are looking for a contract or full time, the client is open to either.

 

Requirements: 

•             Experience programming web applications using PHP, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML

•             5+ years' experience developing websites using Drupal framework

•             Experience consuming open and/or private APIs, such as Facebook, Twitter, and Google

•             Excellent verbal and written technical documentation skills

•             Self-motivated, detail oriented and self-organized

•             Willingness to learn and master unfamiliar technologies and/or concepts Desired Skills:

•             Experience working in an Agile software development environment

•             Working knowledge of Linux, MySQL and NoSQL dbms

•             Active in the Drupal.org community and forums

Pluses:

•             Experience in development using PHP, Apache, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, Ajax, jQuery, Bootstrap, Angular.js, Node.js and other JS frameworks

•             1+ year developing responsive sites for mobile and tablet platforms

•             Experience using best practice version control methodologies and tools such as Git or SVN

•             Demonstrated experience in managing/leading development teams; experience working with off-shore teams a plus
