Position: Order set Clinical informaticist
Location: Long Island, NY
Contract: 6-9 Months with possible extension
Key Requirements
- Nurse/Clinician experience in healthcare/hospital setting
- Experience with/uses ProVation or Zynx
- Order sets and order set development
- Allscripts SCM as an end-user perspective with some configuration knowledge is a highly preferred
Requirements :
- Assists a multi-facility and multidisciplinary committee with the development and review of clinical content (order sets, documentation, and clinical support).
- Assists in supporting multiple subject-matter experts in developing and reviewing workflow in support of enterprise-wide clinical standardization for reduced variability in care delivery including inpatient order sets and outpatient disease and wellness management plans.
- Utilizes clinical and analytical skills to evaluate proposed designs and makes recommendations. Identifies best-practice opportunities.
- Understands and is familiar with inpatient and ambulatory information systems and associated data. Identifies opportunities to leverage data for proposed projects.
- Demonstrates analytic skills including ability to evaluate medical literature relevant to a specific clinical problems.
- Experience with data management and analytic tools, preferred.
- Strong communication and team consensus building skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
