Position: MySQL DBA

Location: Bay Area, CA

Rate: DOE

Duration: 6+ month contract

Interview Process: Phone to F2F

 

Description: 

* Looking for a Sr. DBA with strong MySQL DBA and good competent Oracle DBA experience. 

* The contract is for about 6 months with options to extend.  Our environment is primarily RHEL Linux running on  VMWare VMs and AWS EBS VMs.

* The successful candidate will have demonstrated competency in DB performance tuning, DB backups and restores, DB disaster recovery DB systems, shell scripting and other DBA areas.

* Experience with MySQL Replication, MySQL Clustering, and Percona tools preferred. The candidate will also provide Hyperion Brio (Business Intelligence) support. 

* The candidate will be part of a team of three other DBAs that work on a rotation basis for Primary support.
