Job Description:

Our Client is looking for a senior Peoplesoft functional consultant.  Client uses Peoplesoft Financials and Supply Chain v9.2 and is looking especially for experience related to Procurement module and the "Procure to Pay" lifecycle, as we have a number of immediate projects in this area. We're ideally seeking a senior consultant who can function with a high degree of independence and responsibility and work under the guidance of the OCFO Business Systems Analysis team, but work directly with our Procurement SME's and IT team to design and drive business solutions. 

 

Job skills/functions/requirements include:

Provide thorough problem analysis, develop functional specifications, testing/re-testing system changes, and update system configuration system parameters as required

Document functional business requirements, identify alternative approaches/solutions, and coordinate feasibility, fit-gap, and cost-benefit assessments.

Design, develop and execute test plans to ensure system changes conform to design and coordinate user acceptance testing. 

Validate the conversion of transactional data during system upgrades/new system implementations. 

Potentially provide some operational support for existing production finance operations.

We would generally expect a qualified candidate to have minimum 5-10 years experience in related areas (functional, technical, business)

Strong data analytical skills are a must -- SQL tools, Excel, data analysis and presentation, etc.

It is essential for person to have the written and verbal communication skills sufficient to produce quality documentation and present and explain solutions to stakeholders
