Position Title : LTE Validation Test Engineer

Locations: San Ramon, CA

Duration: Long term contract

H1b copy required, Local Candidates preferred

LTE skills :

• Strong in LTE Architecture.
  
• Good understanding of LTE core system interfaces and protocols such as S1-MME, e-nodeB, SGSN, PGW, SGW, S1-U, S6a, S11, S5/S8, Rx, NAS, S1-AP, RRC, GTPv2c, GTP-U, SGs-AP.
  
• Expertise in Field testing OR E2E lab Testing with strong LTE knowledge.
  
• Expertise in creating test plans for system level, subsystem level and feature level testing.

Datacom skills :

• Strong Understanding of L2 and L3 switching and IP routing, Ethernet & TCP/IP.
  
• Working knowledge of Routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP.
  
• Good hands-on usage of test tools such as IXIA tools or Spirent test center and HPQC.
  
• Experience in Manual testing with writing test cases and creating test design from Requirements and RFC's.
  
• Experience in debugging and troubleshooting the test failures and isolating system OR software issues.
  
• Experience on Cisco Routers & Switches with IOS image OR Juniper Routers with JunOS platform.
  
• Certification : CCNP/JNCIA/ CCNP desirable. 

Behavioural skills :

• Good oral and written communication skills.
