Position : Software QA Tester
Location : Manchester, NH
Duration : 6+ month

 

Experience with GUI software testing frameworks, experience with Selenium highly desirable
Proficient in scripting languages:  Python, Perl, Tcl/Tk and HTML or equivalent
Knowledge and experience with RF testing experience a plus but not required
Candidates with LabVIEW programming a plus but not required

 

Primarily responsible for Software quality assurance testing of next generation embedded and application software for In Building Wireless networking equipment. 

 

DUTIES
Architect, design, develop and execute automated software tests
Develop test plans and test cases
Participate in initial system design to assure that QA testing is considered throughout product lifecycle
Analyze results of tests, debug as required and provide results to development team
Participate in technical reviews to ensure product quality
Practice good communication inside and outside the development team
Estimate time and effort on projects and tasks
Demonstrate ownership and responsibility for assigned tasks
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:

 

Experience with GUI software testing frameworks, experience with Selenium highly desirable
Proficient in scripting languages:  Python, Perl, Tcl/Tk and HTML or equivalent
Able to debug and analyze failures that occur during the testing
Knowledge and experience with C/C++ development in an embedded software environment a plus but not required
Knowledge and experience with RF testing experience a plus but not required
Candidates with LabVIEW programming a plus but not required
Networking, IPV4, IPV6, 802.1X protocol experience.
Knowledge and experience with synchronized development processes & agile methodologies
Experience working with Wi-Fi, Wireless Telecommunication devices a plus
Unix/Linux Operating System concepts and design
Strong knowledge of QA test methodologies and tools
Strong organizational skills, tracking multiple test executions simultaneously
Must have good documentation and process discipline 
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing environment
EDUCATION:

 

B.S. in computer science and 8-10+ years of experience as a SW QA test engineer
