Business Analyst

This is a short-term assignment. 3 month contract
Phone and face to face
The Business Analyst collaborates with business and technology resources to
facilitate the development of the project scope and to elicit, vet and validate
the requirements needed to deliver the agreed to scope.
5-10 years' work as a Business Analyst
• Some Business Analysis experience is required;
• Experience within the financial industry including but not limited to banking, securities, investment and/or accounting.
• Superior Analytical skills, usually developed through experience in related jobs or through formal training.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• College Degree preferred.
Analysis Skills:
• Facilitate Impact Assessment Workshops (JAD sessions), Process Analysis, Current/Future State integration, Change Management & Installation, Requirements Gathering, Requirements Traceability, Test Case Scripting & Execution, User Acceptance Testing
Business Skills:
• Familiarity with ACH Payments/Settlement/Clearing, ACH File Format/Addenda, Treasury Mgmt, Transaction Banking (Acct posting),
Electronic Payment Network (EPN), The Clearing House, Fiserv/FIS Industry Products
Technical Skills:
• Visio, Swimlane Diagramming, Quality Center/ALM, Sharepoint, Automated Testing, Six-Sigma nice to have, familiarity with SDLC methodologies
Personal Skills:
• Complex Stakeholder Management, Cross-functional team coordination, Ability to qualify/quantify end user impact, Ability to identify/define client-specific edge cases and understand impact
