Role Overview

·         The Business Analyst required for this position will work closely with Finance and Technology departments on Oracle Fixed Asset module noted below

·         They will represent the functional needs of Finance ensuring business needs are planned into the future solution

·         Responsible for the conversion requirements, testing, implementation and training related to fixed assets

·         Development of business process flows and procedures required to operate the solution in partnership with the business

 Skills Overview

·         Detailed knowledge of Oracle EBS 11i and R12 fixed asset module

·         Detailed knowledge of asset conversion and depreciation methods

·         Ability to analyze legacy fixed asset and identify depreciation variances

·         Experience of writing detailed business solutions, specification, data mapping and conversions

·         Experience working with business process owners and end-users to establish sufficient levels of detailed requirements as well as creating test and conversion plans

 Industry

·         Understanding of the Financial Services and banking industries preferred

Preferred Software Knowledge

·         Vendor: Oracle Modules: Oracle Financials Fixed Assets, Payables (AP), General Ledger (GL)

·         Understanding of SQL and SQL*Loader, and TOAD tools a plus

 Software Knowledge for Daily Duties

·         Strong Microsoft Office skills on Windows including: Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Project

·         VISIO or similar skills preferred.
