Data Analyst
We are looking for a passionate Data Analyst to turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. The candidate should be able to conduct full lifecycle activities to include requirements analysis and design, develop analysis and reporting capabilities, and continuously monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.

Responsibilities
Interpret data, analyze results using best practices and techniques and provide ongoing reports
Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize efficiency and data quality
Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
Trace data from requirements down to data sets and verify consistency and implement standards to maintain consistency
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
Filter and "clean" data, and review computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs
Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
Work closely with cross-functional teams and present with clarity the findings and recommendations.

Proven working experience as a data analyst
Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
Should have good communication and presentation skills.
BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics

1) Not particular to any database but someone who has the experience to adapt and work with any database. We currently have PostGres and SQL Server but this role is not limited to them.
2)should be able to derive methods to analyze and organize. Knowledge of tools to generate ERDs, data dictionaries and comparison tools and techniques would help.
3)We would like to see someone with demonstrated mid-level experience of 6+ years.
