Job Title - SAP Project Manager

Location – Jersey City, NJ 

Duration – 6-12+ Months

Description       SAP Project Manager

Competencies   Project Management     Experience (Years)       10 & Above

 

Essential Skills:

Works directly with the account project teams to confirm requirements and scope the projects, keeping in mind the need to implement the standard SAP template as much as possible 

• Provides technical oversight and guidance for complex implementations 

•          Responsible for ensuring multiple SAP projects are delivered within scope, time and budget requirements 

•  Manages day-to-day operational aspects of projects 

• Develops project plan and coordinating activities with project team 

•   Manages projects with resources from IT and business by following company project management methodology 

• Provide guidance and direction to business users and Management team on the optimal use of SAP functionality to meet business requirements 

• Regular update of project status, issues and constraint to Delivery Partner 

•            Acts as the primary contact for SAP projects in all issues related to SAP implementation 

•         Ensures proposed solutions address the needs of the respective business unit 

•       Communicates and coordinates 

 

 

Desirable Skills:

Minimum 5 years of full cycle SAP project management experience 

• Minimum of 7 years of SAP functional expertise is required 

• Strong knowledge of integration across all modules, specifically logistic, production and finance 

• Knowledge of interfaces between SAP and other systems 

• Understanding business requirements and translate into SAP solution
