Job Title :           Embedded Software Engineer 

Location  :           Cedar Rapids, IA

Duration  :           6-12 months contract

 

Job Description:

Candidates will be a part of an integrated, cross-functional team responsible for designing, developing, and testing low-level software for avionics and related products for our Next Generation Avionics platforms. 

This position requires experience in real-time embedded software for avionics applications. Experience with safety critical software development (such as DO-178C ) is desired. 

This position includes development of our higher-level health monitoring and dataloading applications and our configuration and development toolsets. Candidates are expected to be able to perform engineering for all phases of an engineering software development project. Additionally for tools and configuration the candidate will be developing scripts utilizing the python scripting language, integrating 1st and 3rd party applications to support our development environment, and interfacing with our program customers to support configuration generation.
