Position: Microstrategy Architect/Developer

Location: Seattle, WA OR Sacramento, CA

Duration: Long term

 

This position can be based in Seattle, the San Francisco Bay area, or Denver with travel up to 50%.

The desired candidate is an architect level person with strong hands on data modeling and MSTR development skills to lead a team of other MSTR developers and analyst.

 

The person fulfilling this role will be expected to perform the following:

Design / Architect MSTR dashboards

Work with PM and client to develop agile work plans to implement dashboard designs

Allocate tasks that other team members are capable of performing

Directly perform more complicated tasks that other team members do not have the skill set or bandwidth to person

Strong commitment to project completion and client satisfaction

 

Qualifications

·        7+ years of experience in Data Warehouse & Business Intelligence Architecture, Design, and Development

·        MicroStrategy certified

·        Extensive MicroStrategy experience with the following tools:

·        MSTR Architecture

·        MSTR Developer

·        MS Web

·        Demonstrated experience / proficiency in MSTR V10.x

·        Ability to translate business requirements into data consumption frameworks (documents, dashboards (ad-hoc) and reports (data sets))

·        Strong SQL skills

·        Strong understanding of data modeling

·        Experience creating complex reporting objects using Relationship filters, Metric dimensionalities, Nested Prompts, Hierarchy Filters, Consolidations, Custom Groups, Free form SQL, Query builder, etc

·        Experience creating MicroStrategy documents for mobile platforms

·        Experience with MicroStrategy SDK's and java is a plus
