Job Title :           Sr webMethods Developer

Location  :           Atlanta, GA 

Duration  :           6-12 Months Contract

 

Job Description:

Bachelor's Degree or higher

5+ years of integration experience

3+ years development experience with webMethods

Must be able to participate in 24x7 on-call rotation

Knowledge of  EAI, ETL, ESB, publish/subscribe, SOA, canonical documents and other integration concepts

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Senior WebMethods Developer, you will primarily be responsible for the following: 

Design, develop, and support integrations in webMethods

Gather and document requirements for new and enhanced integrations

Drive continuous process improvements in the integration space

Direct and oversee the work of integration developers on project work

Mentor and train new employees, consultants, and co-ops

Ensure that integration standards and best practices are followed

Architect solutions with long-term value in mind and challenge non-optimal and/or non-value added designs and requirements

A strong performer in this role will effectively apply our culture and management philosophy to excel at:

Utilizing strong problem solving and analytical skills as well as good written and verbal communication skills to discuss requirements, support, status updates, etc. to audiences with varying levels of IT knowledge

Use of entrepreneurial skills to drive process improvements, add value to the organization,  complete project work, and resolve issues with the long-term in mind

Challenging the status quo and focusing on long-term value when designing solutions

Making use of your technical and process aptitude to come up to speed on new tools and concepts required for integration development and support

Solving critical support issues related to integration tools and processes

Drawing on your broad IT experience to collaborate with various IT teams such as infrastructure support, networking, database administrators, web development, business application developers and more

Enabling business process efficiencies through strong application of integration architecture

Being the integration resource on small to large projects using both waterfall and agile methodologies

Educating others on integration concepts, tools, and architecture
