to work on a remote basis

 through September 9/20/2016

 

 

We are seeking someone with significant Solr expertise that could start right away and support until 20 Sept 2016.  Work can be remote (being able to visit a time or two would be helpful) and DOI credentials are not required. Here's a quick synopsis of what is required:

 

Solr Specialist

Qualifications:

●     Expert level experience with scaling Solr

○     Including experience with: SolrCloud, Sharding, Clustering and Large multi core instances

●     Expert level of experience with AWS

●     Access to AWS environment will be provided

 

Deliverables:

●     An exemplar AWS Solr 6.0  environment in the cloud using project data

●     Documentation

○     Concepts & Process used to identify Solr config

○     Steps taken to config Solr

○     Identification of any issues

○     High-level identification of path forward for other CSASL Applications

●     One day workshop

●     Ad-hoc knowledge transfer sessions with dev & ops
